Peace of Mind, Around the Clock

24/7 Alarm Monitoring from BTV Systems

The best alarm system in the world doesn’t help if nobody is around to respond to an activation. With around-the-clock alarm monitoring from BTV Systems, you can rest assured that your facility is being actively protected and that no alarm activation will go unnoticed.

Our monitoring services are provided by family-owned local companies, so every BTV alarm monitoring customer will know that their facility is being watched over by someone right here at home. We don’t partner with the big national monitoring services – so every customer remains a valued member of the BTV family instead of just a customer number on a spreadsheet.

Rest Easy – We’ve Got Your Back

Protection Against False Alarms

Almost 18% of all calls to 911 centers around the country come from monitored alarm systems. 99% of those calls are false alarms. At BTV Systems, we recognize the importance of the work done every day by our first responders, and of ensuring that their time goes unwasted.

Our monitoring service providers are dedicated to using technology to minimize the number of false alarm calls to law enforcement and fire protection services.

Video Verification

Increasingly, law enforcement organizations are seeking ways to reduce the time and resources wasted when officers respond to a false alarm. Many jurisdictions are already charging fines for false alarm activations, and an increasing number are requiring video verification before they respond to an alarm call.

With video verification, the staff at the monitoring center will respond to an activation by opening a live feed from your facility’s video surveillance system. If an intruder is seen, the authorities are contacted and police can respond confidently, knowing that there is an unauthorized person on site. If the video doesn’t reveal any intruders, only your internal contacts are notified of the activation, not law enforcement.
